I am emotionally invested in these characters’ lives. Have read ALL of the ebooks and purchased all of the Audio books, and am waiting impatiently for the rest of the he audio books to be recorded so I can listen to them while I sew, cook, or road trip. I know them by heart now. They are like old friends, and they are perfect to listen to as I go to sleep. There are no jump scares and the reader’s voice is soothing and consistent.
